Being a volunteer in any area is rewarding.
Learning the skills to actually be an announcer on Village Radio with the encouragement from existing announcers has been fun. I have no experience, which probably shows, other than listening to radio and imagining its something I'd like to try.
A surprise bonus has been learning more about the artists who write, compose or produce the songs on the Playlist I create for my shows. Walking into Village Radio studio is stepping back in time, you can almost smell the history in the air, where nostalgia is everywhere.
I enjoy attending Concerts & Musicals plus Theatre shows. My career has been in Hairdressing so I enjoy a chat & socialising.
